Sandy comes to M2 with a formidable resume revolving around financial management of significant Queensland property sector companies.

His career commenced in 1979 when after leaving University he worked with Ernst & Young in both Brisbane and London. From there, Sandy went to Expo 88 where he was responsible for development and maintenance of the Expo financial model. After Expo Sandy moved to Transtate Limited, a well respected

Queensland land developer with interests spanning Queensland.

In 2001 Sandy was invited to join Property Funds Australia Limited a funds manager listed on the Bendigo Stock Exchange with over $350M in funds under management. During his involvement with PFA, Sandy managed the transition of the accounting, taxation, compliance and reporting system from external accountants to internal resources and developed efficient, transparent management, disclosure & compliance reporting systems.

Just prior to joining M2 Sandy held the position of Financial Controller for

Farrington Grove Limited, an unlisted public company developing a $60M retirement Village.

Along the way, Sandy also found time to manage the finances of a large Queensland engineering fabrication business.

In his role as M2’s Financial Controller Sandy Lauder is responsible for the day to day financial management of the business
